Consultant - Technical Sales, Projects & Electrical Engineering
My consulting work centers on and project/product management, sales/business development and marketing in electrical/electronic engineering and software. I help young entrepreneurs get and stay on track. Established and young companies alike value my experience in the energy and electronics industry. From first customer approach to calculation, organization, project and claim management down to invoicing I see to it that my clients win sustainable business, that project costs stay within limits and that customers receive results that they are happy to pay for.
Since 2022 Product Manager (full/part time to varying degrees) for renewables integration and Smart Grid applications - primarily automation in medium and low voltage grids - at Sprecher Automation GmbH in Linz. Sprecher Automation develops and offers, as a general contractor, products and solutions for energy generation, transport and distribution grid operators as well as for industrial automation. Customers are mainly located in Central and Northern Europe.
From 2018 until 2020 I worked as a Managing Partner at Acticon Systems GmbH is based in Linz. ACTICON distributed and represented Condition Monitoring (CM) and Predictive Maintenance (PM) technologies in the German speaking regions Austria, Germany and Switzerland (DACH). The portfolio was supplied by European and US manufacturers and it comprised CM and PM product solutions for monitoring critical infrastructure such as transformers, generators, electric motors, and substations (including sensors for components such as medium voltage circuit breakers, batteries and feeder bays).
Until 2018 I worked with the Melecs group as Director of the Sales and Business Development department in the Business Division Industry in Lenzing, Austria (EWL). Until September 2016 I was responsible for the medium voltage and rail industry business unit in the "Schaltanlagenwerk Linz" (SWL). Melecs is an internationally operating Electronics Manufacuring Service company.
From 2012 until 2015 I worked as a Project and Product Manager at Keba AG in Linz. Keba AG is active in the electronics/automation business with top-notch products in EV charging infrastructure, ATM/cash machines and industrial controls. I was responsible for new product development (project management) and technical customer liaison (product managament) in the KeMove business unit (charging stations for electric vehicles).
University education until 2011 in International Business and Economics at Johannes Kepler Universität (JKU) in Linz and Trinity College Dublin. Major in Intercultural Communication and English, minor fields of studies in Spanish, Industrial Relations, World Economics, Transport Economics, Strategic Human Resource Management
During my years at Siemens I also attended 4 years evening school at LITEC Linz (HTL2), a higher secondary technical college for electrical engineering with a specialization in Information Technology. Passed with distinction in 2006.
From 1998 until 2006 I worked as an electrical engineer at Siemens in the EMC (Engineering & Manufacturing Center) in Linz. I was responsible for design, manufacturing and quality assurance of switch and control cabinets, mainly for steel, chemical and food processing industry controls.
